| If you are going to visit Naples, probably you already know how rich the Parthenopean chief city is of architectonic wonders, places with fine views, typical zones of Naples old style, gastronomic itineraries and much more. Naples has been enchanting visitors and tourists for two thousands years. This section has not to be considered an exhaustive guide for all the people could be interested in Naples. Therefore hundreds of publications and web sites do already exist. I have imagined and projected three routes representing my standard offer for the one who wants to know Naples with a Neapolitan guide. It isn't a close offer. It is possible to articulate the roles according to the cultural interests.  ITINERARY 1 FROM POSILLIPO TO MASCHIO ANGIOINO (more info) Let's start from the top of the hill, named Posillipo from the Roman word Pausillipum - "pause from sorrow" - and let's go slowly until the sea to reach then the typical places of Naples. The itinerary gives large result to wonderful landscape to represent the zones of the castles and more.  ITINERARY 2 THE OLD CITY (more info) Up and down, trough the little streets to discover the masterpieces of the Greek and Roman Naples a "must" for anyone who wants to visit the city.  ITINERARY 3 THE UNDERGROUND AND THE MODERN ART (more info) Let's go down to the deep galleries and stations of Linea 1 of the Underground of Naples and let's follow an innovative trail in through the contemporary art that shows how the artistic production never ends in Naples. |
